Horror Review: Flesh Eating Mothers (1988)

A venereal disease turns an entire town of two-timing mothers into cannibals!

I only got to watch this film very recently and I have to say I still feel quite, strange.

There are some films that you just have to watch based on the title alone, you know you've done it yourself. Looking at this film's title and cover I wondered why it hadn't come across my path earlier.

I knew going into this feature that I was going to be watching a low budget film, this never bothers me though, actually it usually ends up entertaining me more as the boundaries are often pushed more.

With this flick you get what you expect, bad acting, poor effects, a sub standard script and tons of fun. It's a classic example of a film being 'so bad it's good' and they don't hold back on anything here.

The film is a great sampling of what low budget, b-movie 80's Horror was like and it's so entertaining that you can't help but love it. It's a real gem and it's no surprise it's considered to be a cult film.

"Flesh Eating Mothers" is a fun film to watch with your fellow Horror friends and have some beers, just sit back and enjoy.
