Horror In 2014

What will 2014 hold for Horror fans?
2013 wasn't too bad of a year, not great but definitely better than 2012. We saw some great films released and quite a few surprises as-well.

The film I'm most looking forward to this year is "Godzilla", ever since it was announced that this was being made I've been so excited. I started to think that maybe I was getting ahead of myself after a while (let's not forget the 1998 version with Matthew Broderick) but the teaser posters looked so awesome and when the trailer finally hit it sent a shiver down my spine, I could seriously watch it over and over (if you want to see the trailer just click (HERE).

There are also ther films I'm looking forward to this year such as "Devil's Due", "Wolf Creek 2", "Haunt", "The Green Inferno", "Nurse 3D", "7500", "Muck" ,"Deliver Us From Evil" and many more. We've got some great stuff lined up for us.

I also think that 2014 will be a breakout year for the independent scene, there's no doubting it's rise in popularity over the last couple of years and I think that this year we'll finally see it start to get the recognition it deserves.

I know that maybe a bit over-optimistic but I have that much faith of the talent in the scene that if it doesn't happen I'll not only be truly shocked, but also truly saddened that once again the scene has been overlooked.

Who knows what 2014 will bring us Horror fans?! Me, well I'm trying to stay positive about it and hoping it's a good one.
